To Grandmothers house we go........

The second week of March, Jaxon and I flew into Vegas to visit Grandma Bush and my Grandpa Pallas. My mom (Joy), Carrie and Caden all drove down from SLC to pick me up. Alicia and Ema also came along for the ride. After a crazy flight with a 6 month old, I was exhausted and regretting the decision to fly until Carrie and Caden came running to me in the airport. With all the security you don't see very many people do this anymore. It was all worth it after they did this. The next morning was Sunday, so we all got dressed and went to church with Grandma in St. George. She is doing so well. She looks beautiful as always and it seems that her neighbors and church friends care a lot about her and are keeping her very busy. We also had dinner together later that day. I love the way Grandma is so positive and open.

Later in the week Grandma, Jaxon and I went to visit my Grandma Pallas's grave. This was such a great afternoon. We sat down and talked for a while and enjoyed the sunshine. I wish we had found someone to take our picture together, but here are the pictures Grandma took:

Enchiladas

Teresa and Grandma came over for dinner last night. I didn't take ANY pictures.
We had Enchiladas and then played UNO. Ema one the first round, so we played another one. It was fun. I absolutely LOVE living in the same city as Grandma and kind of wished I had lived closer years ago. We shared memories, laughed and talked until they had to head to Wal-Mart.

8 weeks left...

This site is turning into an Angie pregnancy log. Here she is with only 8 weeks left.
She is still pretty tiny, but she is ALL BABY. It's fun to see the way she talks about her baby and how sometimes they get along and sometimes they don't. What a cutie!

Can't wait to meet the baby!

We are having a baby shower at my mom's house this weekend. I will post pictures on Sunday!

Grandma's Favorite Sayings

I think it would be fun to start a collection of Mom/Grandma's favorite sayings. I can't count how many times Mom has said the following to me when I was miserable over some unsuccessful relationship or job: "Everything always works out for the best." It used to make me mad and now whenever she says it I just have to laugh--in fact I can feel when she is about to say it now and I usually say it for her: "I know, I know 'Everything always works out for the best'". It would be fun if you remember any of Grandma's sayings to post them here. A few other choice ones are: "Are you taking your vitamins?" and "This has MSG!"
